# Connect ChatGPT

> Turn on ChatGPT's Developer mode, add Recontrol as a custom connector, and ask about your money there.

**1. Turn on Developer mode, in ChatGPT's settings**

**2. Add a custom MCP connector**

Name it **Recontrol**, choose **OAuth**, and paste:

https://api.recontrol.money/mcp
```

**3. Sign in and allow**

The way you sign in to Recontrol, then **Allow access**.

**4. Turn it on in a chat**

From the chat's tools, then ask: "What did I spend on groceries last month?"
