# Revoke access

> Stop Claude or ChatGPT reading your Recontrol data: revoke it on the web, or remove the connector in your AI tool.

On the web, **Your account › Your AI tool** lists each AI tool you've let in under **Connected apps**, with when it was allowed and when its access was last renewed. **Revoke** ends one; access it already holds runs out within 15 minutes.

Or end it in the tool:

* **Claude:** **Settings › Connectors**, then remove **Recontrol**.
* **ChatGPT:** in settings, delete the **Recontrol** connector. To stop it in one chat, turn it off in that chat's tools.

What it recorded stays in Recontrol, yours to edit. What it read is governed by your agreement with Anthropic or OpenAI; delete those conversations there. A connection unused for 30 days must sign in again.

Deleting your [Recontrol account](https://recontrol.money/docs/tasks/delete-your-account.md) ends every connection.
