# Your rights

> Your rights over the personal data Recontrol holds about you.

Under the **Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)** and applicable Indian law, you have the right to:

* **Access** — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
* **Correction** — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
* **Deletion** — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
* **Data export** — request a copy of your data in a portable format, or download your transactions, accounts and month-end balances yourself, as a ZIP of three CSV files, from **Export** on the [web app](https://recontrol.money/docs/tasks/export-your-data.md)
* **Withdraw consent** — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time (including by disconnecting a bank or broker connection, or by turning off **AI features** in Settings)
* **Opt out of analytics** — turn off product analytics and error reporting at any time in the phone app's Settings, or in Profile and settings on the web
* **Erase your Chat questions** — ask us to delete the questions you have asked in [Chat](https://recontrol.money/docs/features/chat.md). We never store the answers
* **Grievance redressal** — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer
* **Nominate** — nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity

To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app account settings, or email our Grievance Officer at [support@recontrol.money](mailto:support@recontrol.money). We will respond within **30 days**.

> **A subscription is not personal data we can erase.** If you subscribe, the subscription itself belongs to your Apple or Google account. Deleting your Recontrol account removes our record of it but does not cancel it — see [Delete your data](https://recontrol.money/docs/data/delete.md).
