# Billing and subscription

> Trials, renewals, cancelling, restoring purchases, and what happens if you stop paying.

## How do I cancel?

Your subscription lives in your store account, so you cancel it there. **Settings › Subscription › Manage Subscription** opens it.

* **iPhone:** Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Recontrol › Cancel Subscription
* **Android:** Play Store › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Recontrol › Cancel

It ends with the period you've paid for. Deleting your Recontrol account doesn't cancel it.

## Can I get a refund?

Apple and Google handle refunds; we never receive your payment. Ask at [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com), or in your Play Store order history.

## I paid, but the app still asks

Reopen the subscription screen, then tap **Restore Purchases**. On the web, **Check again**. Your payment is safe with the store meanwhile.

## I switched phones

Tap **Restore Purchases**, signed in to the store you bought on. A subscription doesn't move between iPhone and Android: cancel on the old store and subscribe on the new one.

## I can't connect a bank in someone else's space

No one sponsors it yet. Any member can: **Use My Subscription Here**.

## Chat works for someone else but not me

Chat follows you, not the space: your own subscription must be active.
