# Share a space

> Make a space for your household, invite the people you manage money with, and choose what each can change.

Everyone in a space sees everything in it; a role decides what each can change. What's yours alone stays in **Personal**.

**1. Make a space**

Tap the layers icon on Home, then **New Space**. Name it ("Household"), check its **Currency**, and tap **Create**. On the web, use the switcher in the sidebar.

**2. Tap Invite Someone**

On the space's page (on the web, **Members** in the sidebar, where the invite is on the page).

**3. Type their email and check the Role**

It starts on **Editor**, who adds and edits. **Admin** does everything, and **Viewer** views. On the web, the role sits beside the email. Tap **Invite**.

Someone already on Recontrol joins at once; anyone else is emailed and joins on signing up with that address. A pending invite waits under Members, where you can revoke it.

To change a role or remove someone, tap them in **Members** (with **Undo**; what they recorded stays). **Roles › Custom Role…** makes your own.
