Checked on every change
- The web app and the home are tested with axe against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules; the home in light and dark, at desk and phone widths. A serious or critical issue fails the build.
- Colour contrast: every pairing is measured, text at 4.5:1 and focus rings, outlines and chart lines at 3:1, in both themes, with increased contrast, and in each of money’s colours. A shortfall fails the build.
On the phone
- Controls are named for VoiceOver and TalkBack, and amounts are spoken with their sign; a transaction says which way its money went in words (From, To).
- Undo stays 30 seconds with a screen reader on (7 otherwise), and is announced.
- Text follows your phone’s size, up to twice standard; large figures wrap rather than cut off.
- Increase Contrast and Reduce Motion are honoured.
- Money’s Colour offers Blue & Orange and Monochrome; a change always carries its + or − too.
On the web
- Everything works by keyboard, with one visible focus ring; Skip to content comes first, and ? lists shortcuts, which never fire while you type.
- Messages that appear on their own are announced.
- Reduced motion, your browser’s text size and zoom are honoured.
