Choose From and To

From lists Who Paid first: You, then the others. To is the category.

Check For

It starts as your space’s answer, often For Everyone. Tap it to choose someone, or Choose People… to share Equally (As Usual where shares differ) or by Amounts.

Tap Add

Everyone’s figure changes at once, the same for each of you.

Someone not on Recontrol

Add a Guest ends the Who Paid list and asks only for a name. From their page, Invite Ravi asks them to join; when they do, their history becomes theirs. Same Person As… merges them into a member.

Settle up

In Shared Costs, Actions lists your payments. Once the money has moved, tap Mark Paid or Mark Received (with Undo). For another amount, tap Record Payment; to let someone off, Cover It.

From your own space

Pay from Personal by choosing To in the shared space; it’s recorded in both spaces. Anything recorded there as yours that Personal doesn’t hold yet waits on your page in Shared Costs, under Not in Personal: Add records it. See Shared costs.
