A recurring transaction comes round again: rent on the 1st, a monthly SIP, a yearly premium. Recontrol never records it for you: on its day, one tap does. Your bank’s own recurring payments sit beside yours, and the bank records those.

Make one

1

From one you've recorded

In a transaction’s ⋯, choose Make Recurring…. One side may be left blank.
2

Or start from nothing

New on Recurring (on the web, New recurring): how much each time, what it is, its first day, and From and To.
3

Choose how often and when it ends

Every week, 2 weeks, month, 3 months or year. Leave No End (the web’s Never), or pick a last day.
From or To can be in another of your spaces; recording it then writes both books. An account a bank feeds can’t recur.

Recurring

Coming Up ends Home: what’s due first (Due today, Was due 1 Nov; money coming in is Expected), then the next 30 days. Recurring, atop Transactions (on the web, its tab), lists it all by date. A bank’s reads About $15.49. When one’s due, tap its circle in Coming Up to record it, with Undo; Edit on the receipt changes its amount. To record early, hold its row or open its page. Only the latest day is ever due: if you missed an older one, add it as a transaction. If it didn’t happen, choose Skip This One. What no longer recurs is under Ended.

Its page

Its Reminder starts On the Day; it can tell you up to a week before (Alerts). A bank’s page shows what the bank sees.

Stop or delete

Stop Recurring makes today its last day; its history stays. Delete, with Undo, is for one made by mistake; its transactions stay.
